The Master of Arts in Science program is designed to prepare "Highly-Qualified" Elementary, Middle School and Special Education Science Teachers. Teachers interested in updating and advancing their knowledge - or who must complete an advanced degree or graduate courses - will find this program ideal for their needs.

Candidates can hold a baccalaureate degree in any area of study. Secondary school science teachers with an undergraduate degree in science wishing to broaden their professional skills and career options also may find the program attractive.

The program is offered through FDU's University College with an administrative office located on the Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck, N.J. The courses are offered at various off-campus locations. Each course is conducted in an eleven week time period.
