of Science with a major in chemistry program is designed for students
who plan to enter graduate school or the chemical industry and for
pre-professional students preparing for admission to a school of
medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine. The Bachelor of Science with
a major in chemistry program is particularly well suited to premedical
students.
Admission Requirements
The B. S. in
chemistry program is built around the following core requirements.
Prerequisites are elementary and intermediate algebra, plane geometry,
trigonometry and one unit each of chemistry and physics.
