			Crisis Intervention There are times when families face difficult situations that require immediate professional assistance. Examples of crisis situations may include, but are not limited to, someone threatening and/or hurting oneself (suicidal thoughts), major property destruction (e.g., setting fires, breaking windows), and/or hurting others (child abuse, domestic violence).
